It’s been a while
Being on the road for so many years has brought many great relationships to my life, coming in and outta town so much has destroyed some, too. At this point in my life I am so grateful I can still call a good friend up across the country I only see once a year if I’m lucky and know they are there for me.
Adam…Mikey…Andrea…Rachel…Ko, just to name a few. The love for you is great.

Off days aren’t really off days
Today Is considered an off day because 1) I got to go out for dinner with family members and 2) I had time to do a load of laundry. Honestly though, off days seem to be more work than work days. I sometimes wonder if others know everything else that I am doing when not actually on my feet and working.
Tomorrow I am heading home for 3 off days. These will be real off days spent with family and friends that still, after years, don’t understand what living on the road is like.
Snow is coming, wear your scarf.

Can you imagine if our future was really like this movie? I envision Quiktrip and Target owning the world.

I will be learning how to snowboard in 12 days from now. Preparing myself for a bruised bum and a lot of hot tub use. I have not had a vacation in a while and am very grateful for the one week I have off to do this with my family and friends.
